Rep data terms

These terms apply when an organiser on tickts lets you, as one of their reps (promoters), see the people who signed up through your link. They are an agreement between you and TICKTS LTD (Company No. 17029682), registered at 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, and the organiser may also rely on them. You accept them, for that organiser, when you choose “I agree to the Rep data terms” on your rep dashboard. Nobody’s details are shown to you until you do. If you are a head rep, section 9 also covers the contact details of the reps in your team, and you accept it when you choose “I agree” under your team’s contact details.

1. Whose details these are

The names, contact details and answers you are shown belong to people who signed up to the organiser. They are not yours and they are not ours: the organiser is responsible for them and decides how they may be used. You are shown them only because the organiser has chosen to share them with you, and because each person was told on the form, before they signed up, that you would see their details. You act for the organiser, and on the organiser’s instructions, whenever you use them.

2. What you may use them for

Use a person’s details only to contact them about that organiser’s events, in the way the organiser has asked you to. Only send messages the organiser has asked you to send. The organiser is responsible for having any consent the law requires before marketing is sent by email, text or phone; if you are not sure whether you may message someone, ask the organiser first.

3. What you must not do

• Do not add them to a list of your own, or use them to promote anything else, including your own events or another organiser’s.
• Do not share, sell, publish or pass their details to anyone else.
• Do not contact anyone who has asked you or the organiser to stop.
• Do not use the details to find out more about a person than they chose to tell the organiser.

4. Keeping them safe

Keep the details private. Download them only if you need to, keep any download on a device that only you use, and do not post or forward it. Sign out of your rep dashboard on a device you share.

5. When to delete them

Delete any copy you hold as soon as you no longer need it, and in any case when the organiser or the person asks you to, when you stop working as a rep for that organiser, or when the organiser stops sharing sign-ups with their reps.

6. If something goes wrong, or someone asks about their data

Tell the organiser straight away if the details are lost, sent to the wrong person, or seen by someone who should not have seen them. If a person asks you for a copy of their data, to correct it, to be removed, or not to be contacted, pass the request to the organiser straight away and stop contacting them if that is what they asked.

7. Your access can end

The organiser can stop sharing sign-ups at any time, which removes them from your dashboard at once. The organiser or tickts may withdraw your access, or pause your rep link, if these terms are not followed. Sections 3 to 6 continue to apply to anything you have already seen or downloaded.

9. Your team’s contact details (head reps)

If you are a head rep, the organiser may let you see, and keep up to date, the phone number, Instagram handle and notes they hold for the reps in your team. Before they are shown to you, you are asked to agree to this section. These details belong to the organiser, as in section 1, and sections 3, 4 and 6 apply to them in the same way. In particular:

• use them only to run your team for the organiser: to reach a rep about their link, the organiser’s events and your team’s work;
• never pass them on, add them to a list of your own, or use them for anything else;
• keep notes factual and fair: a rep can ask to see what is kept about them, notes included;
• delete any copy you hold when a rep leaves your team, when you stop being a head rep, or when the organiser asks.

You only ever see the reps in your team at the time. A rep moved out of your team is no longer shown to you.

8. Changes and other terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, you will be asked to agree again before you are shown anyone’s details. These terms sit alongside the Rep terms and our Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of tickts and whose governing law and jurisdiction apply to these terms.
