About this event

What has musical theatre got to do with human rights? More than you might think.

Rights at the Musicals is a special cabaret night paying tribute to a range of human rights through the unique power of musical theatre. The event spotlights stories of dignity, equality, freedom and justice, spanning a range of human rights, from life and liberty to health and housing, from musical theatre shows, old and new. The performance will blend classic hits and contemporary favourites with new Scottish musical theatre writing. So what’s musical theatre got to do with it? Join us and find out in this relaxed, thought-provoking and uplifting night of song and solidarity.

Ticket proceeds will support the charities Impact Arts, Scotland, and The Freedom Theatre, Palestine.
