About this event

Join TV’s Phil Whyman, formerly of Most Haunted and presenter of Are You Haunted..?, for a night of paranormal investigation at Staveley Hall in Derbyshire.

Having filmed an episode here for Season 5 of Are You Haunted..?, Phil returns with his team—and this time, you can join the investigation.

Staveley Hall — Four Centuries of Secrets

Staveley Hall has more than four centuries of history within its stone walls. Built in 1604 by Sir Peter Frecheville on a site with medieval origins, this Grade II listed manor house has witnessed generations of changing fortunes. The carved coat of arms above its entrance still bears the date of its construction.

During the English Civil War, the hall was garrisoned for the Royalist cause. It later passed to the Cavendish family and spent around two centuries serving as a rectory. Its surviving panelled rooms, imposing staircase and historic features offer reminders of the many people who once called it home.

Echoes Behind Closed Doors

Today, Staveley Hall also has a reputation for unexplained activity. Reports include shadowy figures, mysterious knocks and taps, disembodied voices and unusual lights. Figures have reportedly been seen in the grounds, while sounds resembling furniture being dragged have been described coming from rooms that were locked.
