About this event

Old PaleSteine House presents the third UK screening of Free Jump, a film directed and produced by Ahmed Younis, a Gaza based photographer, filmmaker, and video editor who has documented the lives of the people of Gaza under genocide. The team combined have amassed nearly 1 million followers on Instagram for their work.

Free Jump follows the team as they move through the ruins of Gaza, reuniting to practice parkour after months of forced separation, a portrait of youth, movement, and defiance that many will recognise from clips shared widely across social media. This screening brings the full story to the UK for the first time.

Alongside the film, a photo exhibition will showcase the team's work, offering a rare opportunity to see their images beyond the scroll of a timeline.
