About this event
Meet your London before term even starts. Golden hour, open air, 6pm to 9pm.
Rooftop Rising is your pres before the night begins. Open sky, a proper sound system, good drinks, and a few hundred people who are about to become your year.
Doors 6pm, done by 9. That's the point. You get the sunset, the set and the people, then you head into the city with a crowd you actually know. This is the start of the night, not the whole thing.
Get there for 6.30 if you can. The sun goes down just before 7 and that hour is the whole reason we picked this slot.
DJ19 headlines. Expect the kind of house and UK garage that works with the sky above you and the sun going down, not a dark room at 1am. He's played everything from private events to the Royal Albert Hall, and this is the set built for exactly this moment.
Colour Factory, Hackney Wick. Five minutes from Hackney Wick Overground, and around half an hour from most central halls. Give yourself a bit longer if you're coming from south of the river.
Whether you're new to London or coming back for another year, this is the one to start on. Grab a ticket, send it to anyone else you know coming up, and get there for golden hour.
Tickets release in tiers and the price goes up as each one sells out. Capacity is capped at 300.
