ZEALOUS PROMOTIONS presents DECADES REDUX
THE MUSIC YOU KNOW, THE SONGS YOU LOVE, LIKE YOU'VE NEVER HEARD THEM BEFORE!**
POP & ROCK CLASSICS FROM THE 70s, 80s, 90s AND BEYOND!**
**REWORKED!**
**REMIXED!**
**REDUX!**
On Friday the 18th December, Zealous Promotions takes Sawan Night Club, Plymouth, back in time to an alternate past to relive the best years of your life with a whole new sonic perspective.
Imagine a world where the electronic sounds, styles and musical tastes of today had existed alongside the pop and rock legends of yesterday. Where the songs we grew up with took a different musical direction, and the soundtrack to our lives evolved along an entirely different path.
Welcome to **DECADES REDUX**, where the past meets the present, familiar becomes unexpected, and everything you thought you knew about your favourite songs is about to change!
Return to a time before Video Killed the Radio Star, when Dancing Queens were Staying Alive, and Heroes walked among us. When Love Was in the Air, We Were Family, and the good times seemed to go on forever.
A time when Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, and we were all Livin' on a Prayer. When Sweet Dreams were made of this, Heaven Was a Place on Earth, and all we needed was A Little Respect.
When Common People dreamed of becoming Supersonic and Angels were watching over us. When Everything Changes, Nothing Else Matters, and even after all those years, we Never Forget!
Your musical time travellers for the evening, **MASTERGAIN, EINNOC PLAYS and GHOSTIE**, will be taking the songs you know and the music you love on a journey through an alternative sonic timeline. Expect house and dance reworks, remixes and reimagined versions of retro pop and rock classics, bringing yesterday's unforgettable melodies together with today's infectious electronic rhythms.
It's nostalgia, but not quite as you remember it!
FANCY DRESS: DECADES ICONS
Dress as your favourite music star of the past! Whether it's a 70s disco legend, an 80s pop icon or a 90s superstar, dig out those unforgettable looks and dress to impress. Star prize for the best costume!
And there's more to DECADES REDUX than just the music!
With retro-themed venue décor, attention-grabbing video projections, retro games to play and a few surprises on the night, we're creating an experience that brings the past back to life with a distinctly modern twist.
Keep an eye out for more details in the coming weeks!
