About this event
If you would like to make new connections, step out of the day to day normality of life and chill out in a relaxed cafe in Cullen with like minded men then this is for you. Having lost a close mate to suicide in 2017 I realised that there are so many pressures on men today and that if not checked can lead to disastrous outcomes. Sometimes a simple chat with other blokes can be enough to help release some of that tension. My mates suicide gave me a massive wake up call to ensure I took care of my mental wellbeing, not only for myself but also for the benefit of my family and friends.
With all this in mind, 'Breathe, Brew and Blether' is launching in Cullen after Wayne and I realised that there are likely men out in our community who could do with a safe space to chill with other blokes, have a good chat and hopefully establish longer term friendships. We are launching this with an intention of holding monthly or possibly fortnightly events to come together as brothers and empower each other to be our best.
We aim to provide a welcoming space focussed on what you are after so we will test and adjust based on the ongoing feedback we get from our attendees to ensure we meet the needs of the majority. Help us build this into a place where men can come together in brotherhood to provide a space free of the day to day expectations that are upon us.
We look forward to welcoming you. Shaun and Wayne
