When Pontefract Collieries FC decided to move their ticketing, they were not looking for another headache. The West Yorkshire club had run into difficulties transitioning to another platform, and needed a setup that worked for supporters, volunteers and the commercial side of the club all at once.
They switched to tickts, and the transition was quick.
The challenge
Like a lot of non-league clubs, Collieries juggle several kinds of ticket at once: season tickets across Adult, Concession and Under 16 tiers, families who buy several at a time, sponsor and hospitality packages, and matchday walk-ups on the gate. Their previous platform made that harder than it needed to be, and booking fees added cost onto every supporter's ticket.
The switch
tickts charges zero booking fees for fans and zero commission for organisers, so supporters pay face value and the club keeps 100 percent of what it charges. Payments go straight into the club's own Stripe account, with no funds held in between.
Existing season ticket holders were brought across through the box office so nobody had to buy again, each matched to the right tier. New season tickets, hospitality and general admission then went live on the club's own tickts page, and on matchday every ticket is a QR code that volunteers scan at the gate with a free app.
