Gal Pals is a space BY and FOR queer women, trans and non-binary folks. Our Pride will be a celebration and centering of our communities, who are too often sidelined by mainstream Pride events.

ROOM 1: Basement - Gal Pals resident DJs - expect to hear pop, R&B, hip hop, disco, dance & Pride classics 🏳️‍🌈

ROOM 2: Studio - Pxssy Palace takeover - expect to hear dancehall, rap, garage, R&B & bass 🔥

WHO CAN COME TO GAL PALS?

Gal Pals is an intentional space for lesbians, dykes, queer and bi women, transmasc, transfemme and non-binary people.

We ask allies only to attend with friends who are from those communities and to consider the space they take up as the venue has limited capacity and our events usually sell out.

If you are attending as an ally you must purchase the correct ticket type (do not buy a concession or general admission ticket) as we only admit a very limited number to ensure the space remains overwhelmingly a space for our communities.

EVENT INFO:

• This event is 18+ and you will need ID for entry! No ID = no entry

• Doors close at 1.30am. The event ends at 3am.

• Tickets are non-refundable, however, if the event sells out, you can return your ticket and it will be offered to the Waiting List.

ACCESSIBILIY:

• Komedia is wheelchair accessible via lift access, with accessible and gender neutral toilets. The bars have low level access for wheelchair users.

• Seating is available for those who are less able to stand. If you are unable to stand for long periods of time and there is a queue for entry please inform security and they will allow you to queue jump.

• Flashing lights, strobe lighting and smoke will be used throughout the duration of the night on the dancefloor.

• Safe Only will be providing welfare support for this event. They will be recognisable in their neon pink high vis vests.

• If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unwell or someone is making you feel uncomfortable, please speak to someone from the welfare team.

• All of their team are highly experienced in conflict resolution, de-escalation and drug awareness/response. They centre harm reduction in everything they do and are here for you.
